The Biak Numfor Regency Government launched the rice assistance program to impose restrictions on community activities (BB-PPKM 2021) at the Warehouse of the Biak Sub Directorate of Dolog, Saturday (31/7). The launching event was conducted by Assistant I of the Regional Secretariat of Biak Regency, Numfor Mahusunu, S.IP., MM together with the Chairman of the Biak DPRD, Humfor Milka Rumaropen.

In his written remarks, the Regent of Biak Numfor Herry Ario Naap, S.Si., M.Pd emphasized that according to the instructions of the president of the Republic of Indonesia in his directive delivered by the minister of home affairs some time ago, he has instructed all regional heads to immediately arrange the delivery of aid to people who are entitled to receive it. . the goal is to help overcome the economic downturn of the community due to the covid-19 pandemic, especially during the implementation of the PPKM.

"The BB-PPKM program is a form of government concern during the Covid-19 pandemic in the form of PPKM rice assistance, but the distribution schedule is accelerated. It is hoped that the distribution will be fast and on target so that it can reach people who are entitled and in need, so as to reduce the burden of family expenses," he said.
