Summary
The Quality Assurance Web Tester is responsible for checking and testing websites and systems and to ensure quality before launch. With your meticulous and detailed oriented skills, you will be an integral part of the product development team. You will participate is the entire process of comprehensive testing, identifying and reporting defects, as well as tracking and retesting.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct manual or automated tests for verification (including but not limited to) functional, structural, A-B testing, load and system testing.
  
• Manually implement the detailed test cases on multiple browsers and mobile devices, and ensure test case failures or bugs are logged, resolved, and retested to confirm completion of projects.
  
• Documentation of usage instructions, testing processes, and other processes as required to support acceptance testing and software usage.
  
• Work with the product development team to ensure that bugs and failures are resolved.
  
• Review and understand specific requirements to improve the testing process.
  
• Generate weekly status and progress reports.
  

Requirements

• Technology savvy and familiar with internet technologies and website operations.
  
• Methodical, detail oriented, efficient, organized, highly productive and a true self-starter.
  
• Strong desire to learn and take ownership of results.
  
• Meticulous and able to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
  
• Able to speak and write in English.
  
• At least 2 - 4 years of Manual Testing experience.
  
• Prior experience in reviewing websites for quality issues.
  
• Prior experience testing web applications and systems.
  
• Good knowledge in testing methodologies.
