Spoiler for Story:
Once lived a dragon, the most powerful dragon amongst all dragons of the Northern Polaris. The whole Icelands knows his name, a name of glory and fame, a name which with what they call him - Zurehnis. His wings flap the strongest, his flame splurs the hottest, his claws were the sharpest and he's coated with black iron scales named Calaris.
And yet, the strengths he abide didn't satisfy his wants deep inside. So one night he prayed, "Grant me power, o Omnipotent." The Divine answered, "Thou art being greedy, and thou shalt repent." Zurehnis replied, "O Creator, Most Perfect and All-Knower, true, I am blinded by greed, and my want is one I do not need, but I long for dominance over the realm and I could not diminish it for I am whelmed." To which God said, "Very well, o Zurehnis, fly far to Southern Polaris, where the cold bites bitter on thy Calaris. If thou hast reached and landed, thy wish shalt be granted, I would bestow upon thee might, and thou shalt rule the South by right."
And so he flew to the south, farther than any can fly. His wings spread wide and his shadow casted from the sky. He flew high above the lands, over meadows and golden grasslands, over dry deserts and snowy plains, over forests and rocky terrains. He flew through calm and windy breeze, through the brute and stormy seas, through all air hot and cold, through them all strong and bold.
'Till the end, his Calaris touched southern frostbite. There, the winds were frigid and inundated of spite. There was nothing to see, nothing at all but ice and more ice. There were no creature to rule, not one can be seen by his eyes.
"Thou hast arrived," said God to the exhausted dragon, "As promised, I shalt make thee the mightiest any will ever reckon." In a flash he was veiled by glittering dusts, flying from the ground, covering Zurehnis, creating crusts. He froze awhile, but then the crust kracked and fell to pieces, divulging a creature which scales are warm as fleeces. Zurehnis has been born anew, his eyes turned from yellow to blue. Calaris is no longer black, but white, and it is no longer iron, but steel. His claws are like swords for knights, and whoever dares touch it for sure will squeal. His wings are most majestic to behold, and his flames burns hotter sevenfold. "And now I shall proclaim thee to be Southern Polaris's King!" God announced, bestowing power upon the mighty being.
"But Most Forgiving, there is nothing to command," said Zurehnis to the Great and Grand. "Nothing is what you get," explained All-Powerful in utter just, "I have warned thee but thou art drowning in worldly lust." Zurehnis realized he had done a great mistake, and then he pleaded to God in his wake, "Forgive me, Lord, I was greedy and discontented, I am no longer and please know that I have repented." The Omniscient answered, "Nay, Zurehnis, stay in the Polaris. If thou art seeking forgiveness, wait, for the day will come when thou meet thy fate. On that day Earth will call thee as a saviour, Zurehnis, and from now on, only on that day thou shalt cherish. Thou shalt live to that day, but thou can not leave Polaris as you may."
And so Zurehnis waited for the day, the time when his curse will be dismayed. He will stay there forever, until the world calls in favor, and Zurehnis, Shadow of the Snow, is still in Southern Polaris until today.
