The Integration Engineer is responsible for implementing Bornevia CRM on our client’s system. This includes hardware/software installation and upgrades, database modification/administration, troubleshooting, and develop code customizations per our client's requests. The incumbent will interface with a high profile industry client on a daily basis thus requiring the highest level of presentation, communication and professionalism.


Role/Responsibility

• Implements Bornevia platform on our client's system, including hardware/software installation, database modification/administration, troubleshooting, and develop code customizations per our client's requests.
  
• Assumes responsibility for planning, design, implementation, and testing for assigned integration components under the limited guidance of a project manager.
  
• Writes design documentation for assigned integration components; organizes the review and/or release of documentation when required; ensures alignment with the designs of the systems being integrated and the overall solution architecture.
  
• Demonstrate clear progress and a willingness to advance towards a more senior role.
  
• Follow accepted coding standards and best practices, using agile software development methodologies and embedding quality in every aspect of the delivery lifecycle.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science (IT) or related field required, fresh graduates are welcomed to apply
  
• Ability to independently perform systems analysis and abstract application requirements from real-world processes. Ability to work with non-technical users to determine needs and move from general ideas to specific systems.
  
• Programming language required: Javascript, HTML, and SQL
  
• Solid understanding of OOP
  
• Experience with Unix/Linux terminal commands
  
• Knowledge of building RESTful APIs

• Knows how to use git for source code collaboration
  
• An active Github/Bitbucket user
  
• Knowledge about Ruby on Rails and Node.js is highly desirable

• Understanding of Comet concept and its solutions, such as Ajax, Bayeux, and Websocket
