Shazam! Fury of the Gods is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Shazam. Produced by New Line Cinema, DC Films, The Safran Company, and Mad Ghost Productions, and set for distribution by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is intended to be the sequel to Shazam! (2019) and the twelfth film in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU). It is directed by David F. Sandberg from a screenplay by Henry Gayden and Chris Morgan. The film will star Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Helen Mirren, and Lucy Liu.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the sequel to the 2019 DC film Shazam!, released in theaters last month amidst much fanfare and excitement. However, the movie failed to live up to expectations at the box office. Despite having a budget of $125 million, the DC film earned just $30 million during its opening weekend.
Shazam 2 is also the lowest-grossing movie in the DC Extended Universe franchise, with a worldwide box office collection of $120 million as of April 5, 2023.
