The Batman is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. Produced by DC Films and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is a reboot of the Batman film franchise. The film is directed by Matt Reeves, who wrote the screenplay with Peter Craig. It stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne / Batman, with Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Barry Keoghan, Jayme Lawson, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell rounding out the ensemble cast. The Batman is set during Batman's second year of fighting crime and follows him as he explores Gotham City's corruption and faces the Riddler, a riddle-obsessed serial killer.
After he was cast as Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Ben Affleck began developing a DC Extended Universe (DCEU) Batman film with Geoff Johns, and was attached to direct, write, produce, and star. In January 2017, Affleck stepped down from directing and writing after struggling with the story and so he could focus on playing Batman. Reeves took over directorial and scripting duties the following month and reworked the story to focus on a younger Batman, hoping to emphasize the detective aspect of the character to a greater extent than previous films. Affleck stepped down from all involvement in January 2019, and Pattinson was cast the following May. The film's connections to the DCEU were subsequently eliminated. Principal photography began in London, England in January 2020 but was suspended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Production resumed in early September, but was halted again a few days later after Pattinson tested positive for COVID-19 and resumed after two weeks with Pattinson safely returning.
The Batman is scheduled to be released on October 1, 2021. Two sequels are planned, while a spin-off prequel television series is in development for HBO Max.

akhirnya Batman back to root! (SPOILER!)
Matt Reeves akhirnya ngambil ke fondasi awal Batman, "The Word's greatest detective!". batman yang dulunya full action, akhirnya back to roots!
buat ngarepin 90% gebuk gebukan, mendingan lo skip aja deh. karena ini film superhero detektif bro. adegan action yang intense cuman pas car chasing yang paling wuoww.
karena 90% benar benar detektif. And I'm really love this movie! kekuatan terbesar batman ya kaya sama detektif!
ceritanya banyak banget inspirasi dari Batman Year one sama Batman Telltale.
pantasnya seeh PG17 filmnya. tapi ya demi ngejar target cuan,terpaksa didowngrade tingkat kesadisannya seeh.
nonton di IMAX worthed abis! adegan kejar kejaran pakai mobil, puas abis buat nikmatin dolby atmos. lantai ampe begetar abis. cinematografinya bagus sekali pas kamera dipasang di motor, mobil sama potrait. nggak nyesel 60rb melayang
pattinson sebagai sosok batman yang INTJ udah cocok kok. kalau punya teman INTJ tau gimana lah keseharian mereka. hehe... (mungkin yang agak lucu pas bruce pakai baju biasa pas ketemu afred di rumah, udah kayak anak Kos kosan). paul dano sebagai Riddler yang culun kejam dapat banget auranya (neeh DC udah sukses bikin karakter cupu killer setelah peacemaker vigilante). Gordonnya ya okelah. Pinguinnya juga bagus kalau yang main colin farrell. zoe kravitz ya oke oke aja seeh (michelle pfeiffer is still the best catwoman!)
pas akhir cerita, yang cukup mengejutkan seeh muncul sosok Joker (Barry Keoghan lah pasti!). sekilas siluetnya malah ngikutin joker klasik (kok kayak mirip jokernya batman Arkham ya? gila banget seeh kalau dimakeup total kayak gitu)
MINUSNYA!
SJWnya halus, tapi buat gue ngerusak masterpiece movie ini,
- Cat woman called her friend at apartment, "Baby" --> Biseks?
- catwoman menyebut semua cowok kulit putih kaya brengsek --> SJW agenda??
ya walaupun pada akhirnya kalau mau dibuat buat, pattison (kulit putih) megang flare pas di akhir cerita, anggap aja kulit putih pembawa harapan buat semua ras (tau tuh. ada SJW baperan kagak dengan adegan itu? wkwkkw)
andaikata dua hal tersebut dihilangkan, masterpiece neeh film....
