Dune (2020) | Denis Villeneuve Latest Movie | Star Wars For Adult
Dune is an upcoming 2020 American epic science fiction film directed by Denis Villeneuve with a screenplay by Eric Roth, Jon Spaihts and Villeneuve. It is the first of a planned two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel of the same name by Frank Herbert, and will cover roughly the first half of the book. The film stars an ensemble cast including Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, David Dastmalchian, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Charlotte Rampling, Jason Momoa and Javier Bardem.
In the far future of humanity, Duke Leto Atreides accepts stewardship of the dangerous desert planet Arrakis, the only source of the most valuable substance in the universe, "the spice", a drug which extends human life and provides accelerated levels of thought. Though Leto knows the opportunity is an intricate trap set by his enemies, the Harkonnens, he takes his Bene Gesseritconcubine Lady Jessica, young son and heir Paul, and most trusted advisers to Arrakis, also known as Dune. Leto takes control of the spice mining operation, which is made perilous by the presence of giant sandworms. A bitter betrayal leads Paul and Jessica to the Fremen, natives of Arrakis who live in the deep desert.

Bagi yg ga suka BR2049 mohon jgn paksa nonton ini yak, karena ini pacenya setipe 
Film ini memang harus dieksekusi wajib pakai IMAX, segala practical effect, sound enggineering yg emang dibuat untuk ditonton di ruangan IMAX
Ceritanya ringan, mgkn agak bingung di awal untuk membiasakan diri dgn istilah2 asingnya. Ya krg lbh macam LOTR dl yg pkai istilah elf, dwarf & orc gt
70-80 menit pertama slow pace, pengenalan segambreng origins tokoh & clan yg ada
Sisa durasi lgsg ke intrik & diakhiri dgn cliffhanger yg haaahhhh
Ada sequence yg luar bisa powerful, seperti di trailer. Yakni, “What’s in the box?”
Itu luar biasa aktingnya, gw smp merinding ngeliat sequence tersebut dibarengi dgn scoringnya Zimmer
Poin plus plus plus pelem ini ialah Overpowering score ke scene2 yg sangat ciamik, BR2049 vibes
Gw rasa pelem ini di carry sama Zimmer, aseli
Ini gw review dgn pengalaman pernah nonton Dunenya si Lynch, jadi tau gambarannya cem gmn
Gw rasa kutukan Dune masih berlanjut, part 1 ini jelas2 belum ada magnet khusus supaya viewers baru bisa attached
Bisa2 malah cancelled lagi part 2-nya
Gw merasakan dejavu BR2049 back in 2017
