In reality his E & Q have no interaction at all, and E does a laughable 80% damage (Razor does 300%!)

as for the phys/geo dmg buff from the beta, they might have figured out that the budget on his Q and AA animations were enough to entice pips to pull so theyll just save that kind of utility for future units to delay powercreeping which can help them sell a character despite the lack of hype on their designs/character personality.

This is the 2nd time they do this, Ganyu and Albedo look like they're on the same path.

C6 is completely unobtainable without spending literal thousands, and Zhongli specifically is disfunctional without his constellations, needing to pick and choose which one of his tools to build towards using effectively.

Even Xinyan, who is a 4*, scales all of her abilities off her DEF, Albedo (by the looks of it) does the exact same thing, Mona's Hydro Damage scales off of her Energy Recharge, but Zhongli was butchered so badly that if you build him full HP like he's meant to be, his pillar becomes useless and his meteor becomes lackluster despite the 33% of HP talent- and the only way to fix him is getting him at least to C3 so that you can still get a shield big enough to be useful while actually building some ATK into him.
