Planet Coaster: Console Edition Releases For PlayStation 5 in November As a Launch Title

Frontier Developments has announced that Planet Coaster: Console Edition will be releasing as a next-gen launch title this November, with the option to download the next-gen version if you purchase the current-gen version at no additional cost. A Deluxe Edition is also in the offing, bundling additional rides and coasters.

Planet Coaster: Console Edition features redesigned user interfaces, and a new radial menu and control system, so you can easily assemble the rollercoaster of your dreams piece-by-piece using accessible and powerful tools. You'll also be able to manage your theme park, hiring staff, setting drink prices, investing in R&D, and more.

You'll be able to play Planet Coaster: Console Edition on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 from 12th November in slect regions, then 19th November worldwide, with the digital-only Deluxe Edition bundling the base game with the Magnificent Rides Collection and Classic Rides Collection, offering 18 extra rides and coasters.

Purchase Planet Coaster: Console Edition standard edition for $49.99/£39.99/€44.99 or Deluxe Edition at $59.99/£49.99/€54.99 at retail, and you'll receive Oswald's Magnificent Machine, a one-of-a-kind coaster created by "Planet Coaster impresario" Oswald B. Thompson.
