On this thread, I personally hope we can encourage positive values like hope, love, and togetherness to counter the negativities, especially in our life. This thread is expected to give warmth towards the English Forum fellows which ultimately makes this thread the loveliest place around town!

thats why ive said before that i hope government and residents can be cooperate well to find and do the work of its solutions... residents can started from managing their own household waste, maybe... and goverment can speed up on what theyve been planned from beginning...
talking about Anies, IMHO... technically could be wrong, because the progress is too slow and seems distracted with some other projects...
theoretically, naturalization of water bodies is a good plan if... it planted on the right spots and the structures should be brilliant... like how they channeling to the other water bodies, floodgate etc etc... and vertical drainage its good move also...
BTW some other country, mostly at europe implemented naturalization and vertical drainage, mainly to prevent big flood and works well...
maybe Anies just want to make the same good moves but... dunno... and the current rainfall is extremely high anyway...
