Before watching the movie of Captain Fantastic, to be honest, at first I wasn't too interested in watching it. Perhaps when I read the title of the movie, which crossed on my mind, that is like the other superhero movies. But after finished watching the movie, I like it a lot.

This movie tells about a family that lives in the middle of the forest. The father (Ben) tries to educate his six children from the rigor of modernization.


Ben families’ life is indeed far from modernization. They don't have TV or Smartphones.

When they’re in the restaurant and The kids examine the menu.

Bodevan “They have chicken.
” Zaja “What's a Coke?”
Ben (Their Father) answered “Poison water.”
Kielyr “Can I have the grilled-cheese?”
Nai “What's a... milk shake?”
Vespyr “Can I have a hamburger and fries?”
Ben (Their Father) “Okay, everyone up.
We're going, because there is no actual FOOD on this menu!”

It represents that we must realize how forgetful we have been deceived by the capitalist system that creates an item, in order to become a certain commodity.

The capitalist system really wants a consumptive lifestyle of society. On the pretext that it is lifestyle.
As if that is the only way to cause existence from within humans.
This desire from within humans will continue to be haunted by the capitalist system, until we no longer realize what is the difference between 'needs' and 'wants'. We are always made to fantasize about buying things that are not too important, which should be constructed as meeting the needs of life.

The essence is from Captain Fantastic Movie, that the way of life of people who consumes an excessive amount of goods is like to perpetuate the capitalist system that continues to feed us with its false desires.
