Picture Book
Picture Book.
Picture book is a book contains pictures and it has few sentence. The picture book usually used by parents to tell the story or tell the picture that be in the book to their children. In the picture book also there are several short sentence to explain what happened on the picture of story and what the plot in the picture book. The picture book has several kinds such as fiction and non-fiction picture book. Actually fiction and non-fiction picture book have similarities and differences.
Fiction and non-fiction picture book have similarities. First, the picture book has funny and interesting picture. Similarity to the non-fiction picture book also lots of funny and interesting picture. Second, the fiction picture book is so colorful that is admired by children. Also the non-fiction picture book contains lots of colors make children interesting. Finally, the material paper of the fiction picture book is softer than other books. Likewise, the non-fiction picture book also has tender paper than other books.
Having differences between fiction and non-fiction picture book make them look contrast. First, the fiction picture book contains literary elements. In contrast to, the non-fiction picture book does not contain literary elements. Second, the fiction picture book relates to cognitive and affective aspect for children. Unlike, the non-fiction picture book relates to psychomotor for children. Finally, the fiction picture book contains bias and non-bias in the story. On the other hand, the non-fiction picture book does not bias in the story.
Knowing similarities and differences between fiction and non-fiction picture book make us be broad minded. We could distinguish them from the content and function of the picture book. Besides, they can be compared because they have same character such as animation picture, full colors and the material of papers. Both of them are important to improve intelligence and psychomotor to children. Therefor parents should get the fiction and non-fiction picture book to their children in order to make the children will be smart, clever and active.
