Mortal Kombat X Versi Mobile sejatinya tidak jauh berbeda dengan Injustice: Gods Among Us dan WWE Immortals. Maklum, ketiga game mobile tersebut dikembangkan oleh studio yang sama, yakni NeatherRealm Studios. Bedanya dengan Injustice dan Immortals hanya terletak pada gerakan Fatality yang sudah menjadi ciri khas franchise-nya.

Ketika sudah memasuki permainan dimana memerlukan energi per karakter, nantinya players akan dibawa ke dalam pertarungan antar karakter 3v3 secara bergantian. Karakter yang tersaji di game ini cukup banyak, karena terbagi dalam beberapa versi, yakni bronze, silver, gold dan diamond. Dan tentu saja, versi diamond adalah versi yang terkuat dan berisikan karakter populer, dimana memiliki kemampuan Fatality dan X-Ray Move.

Semua pertempuran yang tersaji di sini dilakukan dengan kontrol layar sentuh, tap dan swipe. Tap untuk menyerang, lalu tap lagi secara terus-menerus untuk menghasilkan kombo. Kontrol swipe dengan arah yang acak akan keluar ketika memasuki Quick Time Event atau QTE di akhir kombo. Tahan dua jari kalian di layar untuk menangkis serangan para musuh.

Setiap karakter memiliki gerakan spesial dan X-Ray (yang ini khusus versi gold & diamond) yang muncul di bawah layar. Cukup tekan tombol virtualnya untuk bisa meluncurkan serangan tersebut. Masing-masing memiliki cara yang berbeda ketika tengah mengeksekusinya, ada yang tap berkali-kali atau ada juga yang perlu tap menyesuaikan indikator.

Mortal Kombat X versi mobile menyiapkan beberapa macam mata uang.
Pertama adalah koin, yang didapatkan setiap menyelesaikan pertarungan. Kegunaannya adalah untuk membeli paket kartu serta pembelian karakter, boost dan equipment secara terpisah.
Kedua adalah soul sebagai mata uang premium. Inilah satu-satunya mata uang yang bisa membeli semua karakter versi gold yang ada di game ini (kecuali Kano versi gold bisa dibeli dengan dana sebesar 99 ribu koin). Berbeda dengan koin, soul bisa dibilang tidak bisa di-grinding. Kenapa? karena player tidak bisa mendapatkan soul lagi jika mengulang level yang sudah selesai. Tidak heran jika progres mengumpulkan karakter sedikit lambat.

Kombat

Kombat basics:
- Tap the screen to attack
- Hold two fingers to block
- Tap your teammate’s portraits to tag them in

- You generate power to use special attacks by landing attacks on your opponent.

- - Don’t feel limited to using one finger when performing Special Attacks!
- You can use Special Attack upgrades to purchase your 2nd (or even 3rd!) Special Attack or upgrade them.

Is your character getting low on health? Tag them out. Your inactive characters gain health and power when resting.

General

Test Your Luck - Once per day at login you get to flip over a card and receive a reward. The more consecutive days you play, the better the reward!
Do your Daily Objectives! They’re a consistent source of free rewards that reset every 24 hours.
Review your Kollection regularly. Make sure you have your equipment on the characters you want them on and a plan for your upgrades.
- Check out your characters’ disciplines and classes to assemble your best possible team.

Modes

Challenges
- Challenges appear for a limited time and allow you to acquire powerful gold cards by completing five towers with specific tasks such as using only bronze characters or including a specific character in your team.
- You'll also earn a reward with each tower you complete.
[size={defaultattr}]Feats of Strength[/size]
- As soon as you get your first Gold or Diamond character, check out their Feats of Strength. Not only do Feats of Strength allow you to unlock customization you can show off in Faction Wars, but they also unlock permanent upgrades for your characters.
- - Remember to collect your packs in ‘Rune offerings’!

Quest Mode
- In Quest Mode you choose characters from your Kollection to participate in Quests of varying difficulty and duration. While your character is participating in the Quest you won’t be able to use them in other modes besides Faction Wars.
- - Make sure you always have an active quest to get the most rewards! You can have 3 quests active at once.

Shao Kahn’s Tower
- A challenging 100 story tower that rewards Talent Points. The talents you unlock in Shao Kahn’s tower give you bonuses to your entire account, so make sure you climb as high as you can!

Battle Mode
- A map where you can conquer towers of 6 matches each to earn Koins, Souls, and experience

- Pit your best team against other players to climb up limited time faction specific leaderboards. Bonus rewards are periodically granted to all faction members based on their faction’s ratings.
- Earn Blood Rubies at the end of each season based on your standing and by accomplishing season milestones.
- - Blood Rubies can be spent in the Faction Wars Store to purchase exclusive Faction Wars cards and powerful equipment.

Build up your Kollection

You can’t solely rely on your best three characters to carry you throughout the game. Each time you fight it consumes a certain amount of energy from your character Kard, and when your character runs out you need to either wait for it to restore over time or spend Souls to refresh it. Not only that, but Challenges and Relic Hunts often require your team to be made up of specific types of characters (such as silver and bronze, Outworld only, or including a specific character like Kitana). The bigger your Kollection, the more rewards you’ll be able to gain!
Replay Levels
[Android/iOS] Mortal Kombat (Mobile)

Which leads to the replaying levels of Battle Mode. While you earn bonus first time clear rewards from defeating a tower in Battle Mode, you can still go back and clear old towers for experience and Koins. While it’s smart to focus on putting your best gear and upgrades into your three strongest characters to compete in Faction Wars and other challenging content, you’ll want to level the other characters in your Kollection to build as many teams as you can. This is especially important as you add new, powerful characters to your Kollection!
Fusion

Fusion is an important aspect of Mortal Kombat X to unlock the most power from your characters. Most Kards will automatically be fused whenever you obtain a duplicate, giving the original Kard improved stats. Characters and items can be fused up to level 10, and it is necessary to fuse characters kards to 10 in order to get them to max level. Fusing your characters and items by earning extra copies of Kards will greatly improve your effectiveness in battle.
Team Composition

While might is always right, putting together a team that makes each other stronger is even more right! As you build your Kollection, you’ll find that certain characters have better synergy with other characters and you’ll want to change your strategy depending on the opponent you’re facing. Make sure to look at the Discipline of your characters, found at the top of their Kard in your Kollection, as well as their Class on the left. Not every Kard’s Discipline makes the other members of your team stronger, but they may have other powerful effects you’ll want to take advantage of!
Challenges

Now that you’ve expanded your roster and leveled up some teams, it’s time to take a serious look at challenges. The gold character Kards you unlock from challenges are great additions to your Kollection that are well worth the effort if you can complete the challenge towers. Make sure your roster is ready though, challenges are no joke! Even if you’re not able to clear all five towers to earn the character, consider trying to clear the first three to earn the rewards. Challenges are also a great way to obtain extra copies of your Kards for Fusion.
Faction Wars
Faction Wars is another great way to earn multiple copies of Kards and equipment to fuse. The more you participate, the more Blood Rubies you will earn, which will allow you purchase multiple copies of powerful and exclusive equipment and gold characters.

Been playing Mortal Kombat X for a good while now and looking to be the best? Here are some helpful tips to improve your Kollection and take you to the top!

Relic Hunt and Shao Kahn
In order to Resurrect Shao Kahn and add him to your Kollection, you’ll need to collect Spirit Fragments. These can be found in Shao Kahn’s Tower and during the Relic Hunt, a limited time event. During the Hunt, you’ll choose a single team of characters for each of the five towers, and the damage they take carries over to the next fight. The towers come with conditions for who can compete and are VERY challenging. Complete the Tower and you’ll earn Koins, Souls, Spirit Fragments, and other rewards.
Once you collect enough fragments you’ll be able to resurrect and unlock Konqueror Shao Kahn, a Diamond Kard. Continue to amass more fragments to fuse this powerful Kard!

[Android/iOS] Mortal Kombat (Mobile)

Look to La Luna! A surprise character awaits in Quest Mode… Klassic Reptile!
To add Klassic Reptile to your Kollection, another Diamond Kard, you will need to collect his eyes in Quest Mode. You can only collect Reptile eyes from Quest Mode during certain times- look for the moon in the upper right of your map! Once you’ve collected enough eyes a secret tower will appear and you can challenge Reptile to a fight in the Pit. After you’ve defeated Reptile, you can challenge him again to obtain more copies of his Kard, but you will need to collect increasing amounts of eyes each time.

Even when you are not collecting Reptile’s eyes, it’s a good idea to make sure you have as many quests active as possible as they’re a great source of Souls and other rewards. A quest’s duration can be as short as an hour and as long as a day, so plan your teams accordingly. Remember: you can still use characters who are on quests in Faction Wars!

Faction Wars
Speaking of, the rewards from Faction Wars are simply too good to ignore: Koins, Souls, XP, Blood Rubies, exclusive character Kards and equipment, plus more! While you’ll want to do a Quick and Normal Battle each day for your Daily Objectives, keep in mind that Hard and Fatal Battles offer even better rewards if you are up to the challenge!

You can see when the current season will end on the Faction Wars window in the Main Menu, and where you stand on the Leaderboards at the bottom of the Faction Wars menu. Keep in mind your position can change at any time as other players compete in Faction Wars, so the reward you see for your current rank may not be what you end up with when the season ends if your rank changes.

Hard Mode Challenges
Once you clear the normal Towers of a Challenge, the Hard Mode version of that Challenge will be unlocked, allowing you the chance to obtain a copy of the character Kard to fuse and gear specific for that character. If you don’t have the character required for the final tower, keep your eye out on the store as sometimes the required character will be discounted!

If you can’t see the latest Challenge, trying clicking into a game mode from the Main Menu, and then going back. If that still doesn't work make sure to update your OS, check the app store for updates to the game, close the app, clear your cache, and try again.
Feats of Strength
Not only do Feats of Strength give you some stylish icons, victory stances, titles, and more, they also unlock permanent stat boosts for your Gold and Diamond characters. Each character has different Feats they need to perform, so remember to keep an eye on what you need to do in order to unlock the next tier, as they may influence what modes you want to play and even what special moves you may want to perform!
