Spoiler for Paulo Dybala not thinking of leaving Juventus amid Manchester United rumours:
Paulo Dybala says he is not thinking of leaving Juventus and is happy at the club, amid reported interest from Manchester United.
The Argentine has emerged as one of European football's hottest properties, and has spoken out for the first time on his future as the January transfer window approaches.
When asked by The Mirror whether he held any thoughts of moving on, specifically to join United, Dybala was forthcoming with his response.
"I'm not thinking about the transfer market," he said.
"Right now I'm really happy at Juventus and the focus is simply winning all the titles here."Dybala joined Juventus in June 2015, in a deal worth a reported £30m. The 25-year-old has six goals in all competitions this season, and scored the winner as Juventus defeated United at Old Trafford in the Champions League last month.
After being defeated by Juve on home soil, United boss Jose Mourinho stated investment was needed for his team, who were lacking behind the Italian in terms of talent level.
"They had [Gonzalo] Higuain, [Mario] Mandzukic, [Paulo] Dybala but they want more. They want Ronaldo. They had [Andrea] Barzagli, [Giorgio] Chiellini, [Daniele] Rugani, they are not happy, they want more," Mourinho said following the defeat. "To go to the Juventus level? Barcelona level? Real Madrid level? How can you reach that level? Manchester City level? How can you reach this level?
"Yes [by buying the best players], but it is not also easy because many of the players they belong to these top teams."
Spoiler for Juventus news: Emre Can returns on Monday, but the market is not closed:
Emre Can is ready to return to Turin after the operation in Germany in recent weeks. The operation, performed in Frankfurt by Professor Vorlaender, was perfectly successful.
The midfielder will remain in the German city for a few days before returning to Continassa on Monday, where he will start the recovery phase, with the aim of making it back until mid-December. It is believed that he will be out for 5-6 weeks, starting from the day following the operation. Should nothing unexpected happen, then he should be back in the middle of December.
Despite the return of Emre Can, the fact that he and Khedira were both injured in the last month has convinced the club to look around in the market. In fact, a midfielder could arrive in January, in case of need. This will expand Allegri's choices from a numerical point of view, with Juve not taking any risks. https://www.calciomercato.com/en/new...is-not-c-20939
Spoiler for Juventus reject Navas option:
It’s reported Juventus were offered Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas, but made it clear they’re happy with Wojciech Szczesny and Mattia Perin.
Gianluigi Buffon left the club in the summer after 17 years as number one, with Szczesny stepping up to replace him.
Perin was signed from Genoa as backup, but today’s Corriere di Torino believes Navas’ entourage got in touch in recent weeks to float the idea of their client moving to Turin.
The Costa Rican has lost his starting shirt since the arrival of Thibaut Courtois, and is keen to get more game time.
Fiorentina could reportedly decide not to take up their option on Juventus winger Marko Pjaca at the end of the season.
The Croatian joined the Viola on a €2m loan with a €20m option to buy, having struggled to break into the first team in Turin.
Pjaca has been unimpressive, however, with just one goal and one assist across 11 Serie A appearances so far.
According to calciomercato.com, that raises the spectre of Fiorentina deciding not to take up their option on him.
That would be a problem, the website reports, as Juve don’t necessarily want to have him back.
The Bianconeri have been disappointed by the 23-year-old’s development, and it’s unlikely he’d be able to find a place in the squad.https://www.football-italia.net/130721/fiorentina-decline-pjaca-option
