Is there anyone here planning to take TOEFL ITP next month at ITB Bandung?
As the title suggests. I'm asking whether there is someone here in EF who plans on taking TOEFL ITP on 22 March 2017 at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). If there's any, I want to help answering your questions about TOEFL ITP as well as other kinds of English Proficiency Test.
It would be better if we met face to face or through Whatsapp/Line to discuss about the test. I really want to help other people because I only participate for pleasure
(meaning that I only chase the highest score (677) to put my name on the MURI (Museum Rekor Indonesia), not to mention that I'm sponsored by my own student to participate 
). So, if you think that you have registered for the test but still don't have the confidence to reach your target score, then you can just join the fray by leaving your WhatsApp/Line number. I've made a group and will gladly to add you to the group.

Then, I take it that you have registered for the TOEFL ITP at Unpad on 24th March, haven't you? One of my students also take the test there because the test at ITB was already full when she tried to register there several days ago. Well then, I'll put you in the WA group tomorrow and give you some tricks that can improve your score by 50-100 points in an instant š

The test was discontinued in 2005 and demoted from PBT to ITP. The formula is known by many, and ETS realised the test was not sufficient so they created the iBT to deal with IELTS popularity.

My first TOEFL Test was in 2013 .. and I got only 653 .. messed up a bit around the structure ..
Well, I have been teaching TOEFL for 11 years though.
Just pelit aja don't want to waste money to take the real test that often.

Wow, it's quite amazing. Have you tried to expose your perfect TOEFL ITP score to MURI? I do this as well because my sponsors say that it can improve the credibility of my language school (it's very good for business)
I'm aware about the position of TOEFL ITP these days. However, eventhough it's not globally acknowledged anymore, it's still quite popular in our country. I believe it's due to the cheap price compared to that of IELTS and TOEFL IBT. Even, there are still many greenhorns out there who consider some local English proficiency tests, such as ELPT ITB, ELT Unpad, EPrT Telkom, etc., as TOEFL. That's why I still focus on TOEFL ITP. In my 5 year experience as English tutor, I've only got 3 people who came to me and took IELTS Preparation Course (while there have been hundreds of people taking TOEFL Preparation Course).
Anyway, I also want to take IELTS and get 9.0 for all bands due to the challenge my friend threw at me. So, I'm looking for another sponsor for this because I prefer spending such amount of money for vacation to spending it for the test š
