First, visit any trainer in the main cities of old Azeroth - just ask a guard, and learn Apprentice Blacksmithing.

33 x [Rough Sharpening Stones] - 33 Rough Stone

30 - 65
50 x [Rough Grinding Stones] - 100 Rough Stone

Keep these, and if Rough Stone is cheap, you should make this one up to 75.

65 - 75
10 x [Copper Chain Belt] - 60 Copper Bar


75 - 125

Learn Blacksmithing Journeyman.

75 - 90
40 x [Coarse Grinding Stones] - 80 Coarse Stones

Save the Coarse Grinding Stones and if you have a lot more Coarse Stone or it is really cheap, then you should make this up to 100 and you can skip the next step.

If you didn't reach 90 by making these, you can still continue to the next step, but you will need a few more Copper Bars, or make a few more Coarse Grinding Stones.

10 x [Runed Copper Belt] - 100 Copper Bar

100 - 105
7 x [Silver Skeleton Key] - 7 Silver Bar, 14 Rough Grinding Stone

You can also skip this part and just make Runed Copper Belt if you don't have any Silver Bar.

5 x [Runed Copper Belt] - 50 Copper Bar

You will need Tin Ore to make Bronze Bar, visit my Tin Ore farming guide if you want to farm the ores.

15 x [Rough Bronze Shoulders] - 75 Bronze Bar, 15 Coarse Grinding Stones

Learn Blacksmithing Expert.

35 x [Heavy Grinding Stone] - 105 Heavy Stone

Keep the Heavy Grinding Stones. Make this one up to 150 if Heavy Stone is cheap.

5 x [Rough Bronze Shoulders] - 25 Bronze Bar, 5 Coarse Grinding Stone

10 x [Patterned Bronze Bracers] - 50 Bronze Bar, 20 Coarse Grinding Stone

Make [Golden Skeleton Key] between 150-160 if you can get cheap Gold Bar.

Make [Mithril Scale Pants] if you do not want to wait for the recipe to respawn or check the Auction House and look for [Plans: Heavy Mithril Pants]

Check the Auction House, if you can get the Mithril Spurs recipe and it's not that expensive, buy it and make those until 255.

15 x [Mithril Coif] - 150 Mithril Bar, 90 Mageweave Cloth

20 x [Dense Sharpening Stones] - 20 Dense Stone
