QML-Kasqus is an alternative Kaskus application for Android. It implements most basic features from the official Kaskus application including no recaptcha. Some additional features added such as:
- No ads
- Show and hide images
- Multiquote support

- Show and hide post

- Block and unblock user locally

- Signature choice

- Themes choice


This application is originaly created for Nokia N900 Maemo OS, but with the growth of framework used to create this application, makes it possible to port it to Android.
It is also possible to port it to other platforms such as Meego OS, Sailfish OS, and Blackberry OS. Also there is possibility to port it to iOS.
As for desktop environment, this already worked well on Linux and Windows desktop, but not yet decided to distribute or not.

Since this is not a native Android application, there is also limitation on it.
This application was tested on Nexus 5, Samsung Galaxy Tab and also Android x86.
It should work on Android OS with version higher or equal with Gingerbread, but it is recommended to be used on version Honeycomb or higher.

Because this is an unofficial application, there is always possibility that Kaskus will block it and it will unusable.
If more people use this, maybe Kaskus will consider not to block it.

This is a non profit application. It's written on spare time, and will be maintained as long as needed as I have that spare time.
And I would be welcome if anyone have any ideas about this such new design, more additional functionalities, etc.


As for now, I would be thankful if anyone can help me to design new icon for this application, or most icons on the application.
The current icon is still empty , I want it has a letter Q on the center, like this K on this icon .

Q: Why Kaskus?
A: No spesific reason, I'm currently studying a multi platform framework, I need a sample application as practice.

A: Qt

Q: Will you upload it to play store?
A: Not yet decided, but maybe I'll consider to if there are many people want it.

Q: Will you share the source code?
A: I don't think so, but I'll reconsider if there is anyone interested and seriously want to ported it to Blackberry 10 OS native cascades. For that, I also need some details about yourself.

Q: Do you have any plans to implement fully features from official kaskus app?
A: Depend on what features and the spare time that I had.
