correct way to say 'mati lampu' in english
Hi,
if someone already made a thread about this topic or anyone know where i can ask this topic, please let me know. i'll be happy to delete this thread
get down to the bussiness,
"Blackout" is a common word to say " mati lampu" in english, most of my friend who learn english use this word.
But after some googling, i find some words like "power outage," "power cut" and "power failure".
and my question is:
1. in what situation can we use those words?
2.is the word "blackout" can be used at any time "mati lampu" occurs? (can we use it when "mati lampu" occurs during daylight?)
thanks before.
