Actually, On each regional there's General Services so that newcomers can ask anything about certain regional that they visit
But Those people of course speak in Bahasa so yes the Foreigners somehow won't understand what they're talking about.

I'd like to summarize Transportation to or from my town

1. There's no railway in Pekanbaru, so Foreigners after they arrive here there will be many Taxi in front of the airport and they will drive you to anywhere you want
2. The condition of traffic jam in Pekanbaru is not so bad as Jakarta, it may be bad but in certain condition
3. My city actually had been awarded as The cleanest city couple times by the government with "Kota Besar Terbersin in Indonesia"
It is clean when It's not smoggy
