(sibuk susun kitab suci AMV007). Sudah 3 bulan ga kelar2, soalnya ada restrukturisasi subbab dan ada penambahan informasi yang saling berkaitan. Sampai saat ini sudah ada sekitar 150 pertanyaan baru, dan diperkirakan akan mencapai 200 lebih. Sehingga AMV007 akan mencapai hampir 1100 pertanyaan dalam 400+ halaman. Ditunggu tanggal mainnya ya.

Bagi agan2 yang kena error SPFT 3149 ataupun 5069

Sampai hari ini belum ada solusi lain selain diklaim garansi. Karena berdasarkan info yang kita ketahui, kedua error tersebut menunjukkan adanya kerusakan di hardware emmc. Bagi yang belum root/modif bisa langsung bawa galeri. Sedangkan bagi yang uda root/modif, agan juga tidak bisa unroot maupun unmodif. Jadi nampaknya satu2nya cara supaya tidak terdeteksi sudah pernah root/modif, harus diformat wholeflash di SPFT, dengan resiko MEID/IMEI hilang kalau belum pernah backup MDT untuk menyelamatkan nvram.bin. (salah agan sendiri). Baca Kitab Suci Max V, subbab klaim garansi.
Sejauh ini yang berhasil klaim garansi cuma satu orang, lamanya 1 bulan 11 hari (garansi biasanya 3-4 minggu). Itupun belum ada konfirmasi dari agan tersebut apakah HH nya diganti atau cuma direplace emmc nya.

To my fellow N986 users from other countries, it seems that N986 gain popularity too in another country beside Indonesia and China (There's some PM landed in my inbox )
I'll explain a little, some frequently asked question about this phone that I found on some foreign forum
Q: It seems that there's 2 different type ROM, 1.0.x and 2.0.x, what the differences between them?
A: The notable difference:

A: In this updates, touchscreen issues on some phone (especially the area near back button) is fixed, and camera quality is impoved too
Q: Can I install Indonesian rom on my phone?
A: Yes, you can. but CDMA network will be locked to our national carrier, smartfren, but you can unlock this later
Q: How can I update from 1.0.x to 2.0.x? Can it be done with flashing via custom recovery?
A: While it possible to install 2.0.x ROM from custom recovery like CMM or TWRP, I don't recommend it. Because it doesn't change your partition table like if you upgrade with SP Flash Tool (SPFT)
Q: How can I unlock CDMA network?
A: There's some way to unlock CDMA network:

A: AFAIK, automatic clock setting is the nature of CDMA phones. But, there's a workaround to manually set your clock:

- 2.0.x screen's color profile is displaying more natural color (to my preferrence, of course)
- Some people said that 2.0.x kernel supports swap partition, while 1.0.x did not (I personally didn't test this)

- Activate airplane mode
- Go to Date & Clock Settings
- Tap "Automatic date & time"
- Choose "Use GPS-provided time"
- Choose OK on confirmation window
- Deactivate Airplane mode
- Tap "Automatic date & time" again
- Choose "off"
And don't enter this setting after you close it, or it will be automatic again
