For those who are having battery problems may want to give this method a try.

Since, the day I got my phone I have easily been able to clock 45-50hrs on a single charge but day before yesterday, it was different. I got up to a dead phone in the morning. At this point, I would usually have about 30%-35% battery left but in this instance, was unable to power on. Didn't gave much thought and just hooked it to the charger, switched it on and left it there. By the time I was ready to go to office the charge was at 63%. Later during the day I continued charging. Reached 100% at roughly 11am in the office and the phone was almost dead by 10.57pm. That's roughly, about 12hrs with same usage pattern.

Now, I was getting a little worried. The only changes I made before going to sleep that night were -

- Update Google Maps
- Messed around with "Network Operators" settings
- Tried using "Auto" brightness for about an hour.
- and the phone went berserk the next day..

Did some reading and found out that other LG models have had similar problems and the "fix" was -

1. Completely, drain battery to the point you are unable to switch on.
2. After step 1, start charging (DO NOT switch the phone on)
3. Charger for a good 6-8hrs without any interruptions.
4. After step 3, unhook the charger and switch on phone.
5. Do not use phone for at least, an hour and let the battery calibrate.
6. Enjoy more hours on your battery.

Now the question, did it worked for me? YES, YES and a resounding YES!
