Taipei, Feb. 27 (CNA) Asustek Computer Inc.'s Nexus 7 tablet computer,
co-branded with U.S. search engine Google Inc., was named "Best Mobile
Tablet" at the Mobile World Congress tech fair in Spain on Tuesday.
"This tablet has brought credibility to the 7-inch category and taken it to
the mass market, with the perfect combination of performance and
portability. A great all-rounder," said the panel of judges from the GSM
Association (GSMA), a trade association for the global mobile industry.
Other nominees included Apple Inc.'s iPad mini and its fourth-generation
iPad with a retina display, Amazon.com Inc.'s Kindle Fire HD 8.9, Asustek's
Transformer Infinity, and Samsung Electronics Co.'s Galaxy Note 10.1.
Google and Asustek unveiled the Nexus 7, the world's first 7-inch quad-core
tablet, in June 2012 to break into the less expensive Android tablet market.
The 8GB model is priced in the United States at US$199 and the 16GB
version is available for US$249.
The move was seen by analysts as an attempt by the two companies to
take on Amazon's Kindle Fire tablets, which are sold at lower margins in
the expectation that consumers will spend more on digital content.

ane udah gan, di PC rumah ane ga masalah kok
oiya btw yang connectify itu kalo ga salah cuma work buat windows 7 keatas CMIIW
trus sebenernya ada alternatifnya, kalo pake TP Link yang wifi adapter itu (ane lupa serinya, tapi coloknya via usb) dia ada aplikasi bawaan, dari sana juga bisa diset jadi virtual access point
oiya tambahan lagi, ini dari mastah mflow sih postingan yang lalu, tapi ane coba share ulang ya.. ada alternatif lain kalo mau akses file di PC/HTPC dari nexus 7 via wifi connection (satu jaringan wifi) yaitu kita buat FTP server, caranya kurang lebih:
1. download install Filezilla Server di PC/HTPC
2. pilih address (biasanya 127. bla la bla), portnya biasanya 21
3. nanti setting di user, bikin user baru dan pilih folder yang mau dishare
4. di nexus 7, install Es File Explorer
5. swipe ke kanan sampai ada pilihan FTP server, add new FTP server, addressnya isi pake IP address PC (biasanya 192.168.0.101, tapi coba cek aja di ip config)
5. isi port dan username
6. selamat menikmati
(bisa "streaming" video dan musik juga kok, ga cuma transfer file )oiya nanti ane juga mau share tutorial pake gamepad (logitech F310/F510) di nexus 7, sekalian bug fix rotationnya. tapi nanti dirumah deh, di kantor ga di bookmark sourcenya
