Description
1. Responsible for leading and managing one of the Product Development teams; specifically the team looking after the following products: Individual UL, Bundled, Mutual Funds, GLH, Pension. This primarily includes leading product development, launch and review to in line with the company's annual, as well as medium to long term business objectives. Working with the various distribution channels and partners, namely Agency, Partnership Distribution and Corporate Distribution. Addressing the developing market and customer product needs
2. Responsible for determining the competitive product intelligence and analysis, and ensuring the relevant dynamics are documented and communicated to management, as well as ensuring market and competitive related decisions are worked into the product management process.
3. Responsible for leading and managing the Product Development Committee for the products above, comprising of Distribution, Operations, Finance/Actuarial and Legal functional teams, with the aim of ensuring product development, implementation and launch.
4. Responsible for obtaining and documenting product approvals from PRM, APRM, the Regulator, as well as product endorsements from business unit and distribution heads.
5. Responsible for post product launch management, in terms of monitoring, analysing and reporting actual experience against targeted sales, distribution and customer acceptance, competitive landscape.
Qualifications
