History
Androp (anne-drop) is a Japanese band.
The band was formed in 2008 around the vocalist, Uchisawa Takahito. The band had their indie debut in 2009, and then signed on to a major label Warner Music Japan in 2011. Before their major debut, in November 2010 they contributed to the actress and singer Kou Shibasaki's single "EUPHORIA".

Member
The identities of the band members are shrouded in mystery. To wit, the official website does not list their names or contain photos. However, the February 2011 issue of the music magazine "ROCKIN' ON JAPAN" contained an interview with photos. Furthermore, during the event "one-man live tour 'angstrom 0.3 pm", the following band member names were revealed:
- vocal & guitar : 内澤崇仁 takahito uchisawa Was once a member of the band "POSTMAN". From Aomori)
- guitar & keyboard : 佐藤拓也 takuya sato (from Nagoya)
- bass : 前田恭介 kyosuke maeda
- drums : 伊藤彬彦 akihiko ito

Concept of "Bright Siren" Music Video

When we listened to the "Bright Siren",
we envisioned bright lights flickering in the darkness,
and the lyrics 'not to make it a memory' has stuck in our minds.
From the inspiration, we came up with the idea of using camera strobes
as pixels to create animation out of lights.
We actually lined up 250 cameras
and controlled each strobes trought a computer program.
All the lights in the film are real, and no CG were used.

Concept of "Bell" Music Video

"Bell" sings about taking action based on your instinct and impulse.
As we listened to the upbeat track, some keyword such as "words" "future" "run" started to stand out from the lyrics.These words led us to think of visual experience around the theme of "delivering message".
These days communications are established so fast & easy, thanks to the technologies such as mobile phone, email, Twitter, etc.
But is there somethings that getting lost in this type of fast communication? That's why we thoght it would be interesting, if we can instead extend that moment of communication, and create an entertainment about the journey of delivering message.
This thought developed in to the idea of the "Bell" music video game.
Your message will transform into animal, which you can control and travel through the landscape which is syncronized to the music. Please enjoy this new music video game experience.

Concept of "World. Words. Lights" Music Video

Quote:

"World. Words. Lights." is a new dance track by androp. It sings about all the different words spoken around the world, and the hope and light they emit upon us.

When we listened to the track, keywords such as "lights" and " dance music" stood out. In order to visualize the mechanical beats, and these 2 themes, we came up with an idea to create a group of "toys" which dances to the music.

We made a variety of toys with various actions, which reflects the diversity of the world. As they dance and light up in synch with the music, they start to seem as if they are brought to life with the magical powers of dance & music.

Concept of "Boohoo" Music Video

Quote:

To visualize the highly energetic track "Boohoo",
we centered the music video around androp's throbbing performance for the first time.
This "Triple-A-side-single" uses RGB as the design theme for its album jacket,
to express the 3 different sides of androp. We used this same theme in the music video.
The band member breaks apart into RGB and comes backs together to become full color again.
The three primary colors represents the different sides and possibilities within a person.
Once the 3 colors overlap, the world returns to its normal "white" state.

salah satu lagu nya "VOICE" bahkan sudah mereka mainkan di acara live "TOKYO METROPOLITAN 2013" tgl 26 kemarin..dan staff mereka melakukan pengambilan gambar untuk dijadikan pv "VOICE" dan mereka juga melakukan perekrutan dari kalangan fans sbagai additional performer di pv "VOICE" tersebut.
