SKE48adalah idol group Jepang yang diproduseri Yasushi Akimoto. Grup ini dibentuk pada tahun 2008 di kota Nagoya sebagai sister-group AKB48 yang pertama.
Anggota 1st gen (Generasi pertama) SKE48 diperkenalkan pertama kalinya pada konser AKB48, 23 Agustus 2008. Grup ini manggung setiap Sabtu di Teater SKE48 (Sunshine Studio) yang terletak di lantai 2 gedung Sunshine Sakae, Nagoya.
Nama SKE48 berasal dari nama lokasi gedung pertunjukan mereka, Sakae.
