PENTING (for new user)

1. Ada gak sih manfaat atau kelebihan pake 64 bit?
Jawab: Jelas ADA. Kalau gak ada, ngapain microsoft bikin versi ini. Kemampuan membaca prosesor dan RAM jauh lebih baik.

2. Kapan gw HARUS pake 64 bit?
Jawab: Gw saranin, kalau RAM agan 3 GB ke atas.

3. RAM gw cuma 2 GB, bisa pke 64 bit?
Jawab: Bisa aja gan. Cuma efeknya kurang berasa. Dari pengalaman gw, emang lebih cepet, cuma akan bertambah berat jika banyak program yg aslinya 32 bit.

4. Gw mau pake 64 bit nih, ada RESIKO?
Jawab: ADA gan. emoticon-Big Grin

Masalah yang paling sering terjadi di 64 bit adalah DRIVER dan ANTIVIRUS. Pastikan agan punya driver PC atau LAPTOP versi 64 bit. Sama hal nya pada ANTIVIRUS, gak semua antivirus bisa diinstall di 64 bit, karena antivirus pun akan membenamkan sebuah driver ke PC.

5. Tahu darimana PC atau LAPTOP gw bisa diinstall 64 bit?
Jawab: Lihat spek laptop agan, udah memenuhi batas minimum belum. Kemudia cek lagi dg program SECURABLE, kalau pada kolom maximum bit nunjukin angka 64 BIT, maka PC atau LAPTOP agan bisa pake 64 bit.

6. Program yang biasa gw pake (32 bit) bisa gak jalan di windows versi ini?
Jawab: Microsoft sudah mengantisipasi hal ini dg membenamkan fitur WOW.
WOW => Windows On Windows. Maksudnya, semua program yang jalan di windows 32 bit tetap bisa berjalan di 64 bit.

7. Windows 86x itu apa gan?
Jawab: Itu cuma nama lain dari 32 bit.

8. DRIVER.. DRIVER... DRIVER!!!
Masalah paling umum di windows 64 bit ada di driver, jadi sebelum beralih ke windows 64 bit silahkan agan pastiin memiliki DRIVER yang dibutuhin untuk windows 64 bit. Masalah yang terjadi akibat driver yg gak compatible:

-BLUE SCREEN, kalau sudah kayak gini mending langsung unistall drivernya. Kalau gak bisa, silahkan pake SYSTEM RESTORE. Jika masih gak bisa, silahkan suruh mbak INUL bergoyang.

-Hardware GAK JALAN. Solusi: cari driver khusus versi 64 bit.

-Crash. Sama aja gan, kalau terjadi crash, silahkan cari driver khusus versi 64 bit.

9. Kok kurang responsif ya?
Program yang berjalan di windows 64 akan dibedakan ke dalam versi 32 bit dan 64 bit. Kedua-duanya bisa jalan, TAPI kerjanya akan lebih OPTIMAL jika agan pakai software khusus 64 bit. Jika agan terlalu banyak menggunakan software 32 bit di windows 64 bit mengakibatkan KINERJA WINDOWS MELAMBAT, jadi usahakan pake software yg 64 bit juga.

10. Bagaimana kalau mau beralih dari windows 32 bit ke windows 64 bit? Bisa UPGRADE langsung?
Gak bisa gan. Harus CLEAN INSTALL. Walaupun INTERFACENYA sama, tapi SYSTEMNYA beda gan. Harap back up data agan di drive C:\ dulu sebelum menginstall.
