ACE Online is an action based Massive Multiplayer (MMP) 3D Space Shooter. In ACE Online, players can pilot their own fighter ships (also known as Gears), on a futuristic world where they can upgrade skills or the Gear itself. In ACE Online, gamers have full control over the Gear’s movement, making it very different from the traditional style RPG’s mouse click control method. This is a Role-Playing Game (RPG), but with all the fun and action of a First Person Shooter (FPS). Since the background of ACE Online is based in a spacious 3D atmosphere, players need to be aware that an enemy missile can strike at any time and from any direction.

The largest of the Decan nations is the Bygeniou City United. The B.C.U. government is run by the National Force Union whose longtime goal is to unify the planet of Phillon. With a very hard-line stance on unification, they have rejected other races and nations. These actions have led to rifts that weakened the government and have spawned enmity with the people in Bygeniou as well as outside. The end result was the separation of Arlington City and the creation of other anti-government movements. These rebels, supported by the Vatallus, formed their own government and are now openly opposing the BCU.

Unlike the traditional government military, its elite mercenary unit from the FreeSKA Academy has unparalleled freedom in the armed forces and is capable of acting independently of the government. Their missions and even command system, operate independently of the government, allowing them full mobility under any circumstances.

The Bygeniou believe in unity by force. They will however put aside their beliefs to respond to an even greater danger. They have vowed to abandon the destructive ATUM Project due to its destructive nature.

Tired of tyrannical rule, a faction of the military and civilian government separated from B.C.U and formed the Arlington National Influence. The A.N.I. are supporters of the resistance movement that opposes the National Force Union at Bygeniou. Being adamant in rejecting the government position politically, a vast number of military personnel abandoned the military and formed an independent force. Promoting peace and freedom, their objective is to unify Phillon through cooperation and equality. This stance however has caused some issues with the Vatallus as they normally take a passive stance.

Although their ranks contain people from all regions, they have high morale and are well disciplined so that they operate well as a unified force. Their actions have earned them the nickname 'Sword of Arlington' by the populace and are a driving force for their ideals."

Arlington, although promoting peace and freedom, will use any means necessary to achieve their objective. To achieve such ends, they have restarted the destructive ATUM Project which caused much catastrophe in the past.

Nation War

Ace Online offers a PvP system of "Nation Wars", which revolves around a point system: "National Contribution Points" (NCP). The two nations in question are Bygeniou City United (BCU) and Arlington National Influence (ANI). Every time an enemy gear is shot down, the shooter's nation gains 1 NCP. NCP are also gained for other events, such as Strategic Points, Mothership wars, and Arena battles. Arena battles usually give a small amount of NCP compared to Strategic Points and Mothership wars.
Raids- Two factions (BCU and ANI) are separated by a series of airspaces (maps). Nation Wars involve a constant battle between the two factions to raid and defend these airspaces. A successful raid gaining airspace over the opposing force provides strategic and economical advantages. Battling over these airspaces often results in tens to thousands of NCPs gained for neither or both nations, speeding up the spawning of motherships (see below for motherships). A map being held by a large enemy force means restricted access for lower level players, meaning they can not access and level up in that specific map.
Skirmishes - Random, unorganized battles, often on neutral maps. They are a major source of fame and nation points. The one and only objective in these wars is to kill as many of the opposing nation as possible. Team strategy and things that grant the win in mothership wars and occupation wars is practically disregarded. These wars are often started by a single gear going into the enemy territory. The nation leader will then tell of this intruder and send people to respond to it. The intruder will then likely request reinforcements. If one nation is either outnumbered or outgunned, or if more people decide to come, more will come to the map. These wars are some of the most popular amongst players.
Mothership Battles - This is another part of Nation Wars, the nation leader (elected every month) chooses when the offensive Mothership spawns every week. At the time what the leader chooses the mother ship is spawned deep in the homelands of the opposing nation. If the mothership is not completely destroyed in two hours, it will despawn. Successful destruction of the enemy mothership grants the attacking nation a 5% increase in recovery rate of energy, shield, and skill points, also allowing access to the "Hornian King Habitat" and "Eopi". Successfully defending a mothership does not grant the defender any bonuses; instead, it prevents the enemy from receiving the reward. The BCU mothership, Anubis, spawns in Tylent Jungle, while the ANI mothership Horus spawns in Reynard Beach. Bonuses obtained from destroying/defending motherships are reset at the end of every month, as are NCP's. The fourth MotherShip of each side that spawns also gives a special reward.
Strategic Points - Strategic Points are spawned in a random map at random times, and it will despawn one hour after its spawn if not destroyed completely. An announcement is made to all players of both factions of the map the Point has spawned in. When a Strategic Point is destroyed, all participants in the assault force gains a "SPI Capsule", which contains a monetary reward to both the player and their nation and 300 War Points. When a Strategic Point is successfully defended until despawn, the defender gains bonuses. Any nation's player that still loses the Strategic Point while being one map before/after the location of the Strategic Point will still gain 100 WP. All players that are in the map of the Strategic Point, or one map before it will gain 'Personal Contribution' which is a monetary reward based on the player's performance in combat.

Suba Games are pleased to announce that the long-awaited launch of ACE Online Episode 4 will begin on Thursday, November 15th, at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. No, this is not a drill!

Due to the update process, the ACE Online server may be down for several hours as the update is applied and tested.

ACE Online Episode 4 is a major content update that brings the following significant changes:

Crystal Trigger System

Travel to Ash Lane, a brand-new level, and you'll find a formation of crystals. When using the item Bionic Core of the Phillion, you will be able to destroy the crystals... the order you destroy them in can trigger boss battles, special events, or items. Crystals respawn 1 hour after they are destroyed.

NGC Strategic Point War System

The brand new non-player faction, the NGC, has been discovered! Both ANI and BCU must rally and fight together to destroy the NGC Strategic Point in the brand new Floating Lake map. The nation that deals the most damage to the Strategic Point . The NGC Strategic Point respawns 12 hours after it is destroyed.

New Missions

ACE Online Episode 4 offers 9 new story missions dealing with the new NGC threat, which take place in brand-new maps.

Evolution Type PETs

Players can now purchase Evolution Type Personal Electronic Toys at the War Point shop. After being equipped with either a Buff Auto Use Socket or Condensed Kit Auto Consume Socket, these PETs can be given a share of your XP to boost their effectiveness!

Hundreds of New Items

ACE Online Episode 4 brings a brand new tier of items to the table that go beyond level 100! Dozens of upgraded engines, weapons, crafting materials, and more are available for use! Additionally, existing items, such as Hologram Cards, can be bought using War Points.

New Characters & Appearances

Two brand new characters to play as have been added! Requires a Character Change Card. Starting appearances of all GEARs have also been updated.
