Shogun 2 is set in 16th-century feudal Japan, in the aftermath of the Lnin War. The country is fractured into rival clans led by local warlords, each fighting for control. The player takes on the management of one of these clans, with the goal of dominating other factions and claiming his rule over Japan. The standard edition of the game will feature a total of eight factions (plus a ninth faction for the tutorial), each with a unique starting position and different political and military strengths. The limited edition includes an exclusive ninja clan, the Hattori, and a DLC unlocks a tenth clan, the Ikko-Ikki.
The game moves away from the European setting of previous Total War games and returns to the first setting in the Total War series, but making significant changes to core gameplay elements of Shogun 2. For example, to reflect the characteristics of East Asian warfare, the game's AI is designed on the principles of Sun Tzu's The Art of War. Also, compared to Empire which spanned almost the entire globe, the new installment focuses only on the islands of Japan (excluding Hokkaido) and on a reduced number of unit types

1. Mount the ISOs as you would for any other game.

2. Download and Install Phoenix (the version number is important. Get it here; http://hotfile.com/dl/81180036/1619c...beta7.rar.html).

3. Go to Instruments/Update ContentDescriptionRecord/Internet

The Phoenix program will now update its database.

4. Under the 'instruments' tab in Phoenix, find the SID-unpacker. Load the ISO first iso that you mounted. Click 'scam a SIM file, and select the only available one. This will load the .ncf file list. Tick off all files apart from forgeign languages (unless you'd prefer them), i.e. exe.ncf, data.ncf, etc, PLUS English.ncf. Set the destination folder to the place you'd like the game to end up in (changing this later on, by moving the game, may cause undesired results, so get it right the first time!)

5. Phoenix will go through the first ISO, extracting its files. When it asks for the second SIM file, direct it to the OTHER ISO, and load its SIM file like you did with the first. When the program has finished with that disk as well, your extraction is complete.

6. Run the original crack, which is located at;

And run this file, setting its destination to the folder into which you extracted the earlier files, from the ISOs.

7. To allow the next crack to function properly, navigate to the game's folder, and delete;

Shogun2.dll
Shogun2.exe
Steam_appid.txt
Steamclient.dll

(This is done so that the new crack does not run into trouble trying to overwrite these files).

8. Download the V1 crack, located at http://www.fileserve.com/file/dBcWpv8. Place this file into the game's folder, and run it.

9. Although it is in Chinese, and I don't speak it (you might), you must select the top-left button (the left of the two big rectangles). This will only work if the crack file is in the game's folder.

A pop-up will appear afterwards. It is asking if you wish to run the game. It will also open a Chinese website. Ignore this.

10. Run the game using 'Shogun2.exe'.
