Defining intelligence: Bridging human and artificial perspectives through Deep Learning
Abstract
This study explores the concept of intelligence by bridging human and artificial perspectives through the application of Deep Learning (DL). By examining the intersections between cognitive science and artificial intelligence, the research aims to redefine intelligence in a way that encompasses both human and machine capabilities. The methodology involves analyzing various models of human intelligence and comparing them with DL algorithms to identify commonalities and divergences. Key insights from cognitive science are integrated with advanced DL techniques to propose a more comprehensive definition of intelligence. The findings suggest that understanding intelligence as a multifaceted construct, informed by both human cognitive processes and artificial learning paradigms, can enhance the development of more sophisticated AI systems and foster a deeper understanding of human cognition.
