Do you agree...
(Firstly, Sorry for my bad english. I wanted to make this thread in Bahasa, but the admins don't allow it. And this is my first thread in english forum by the way)

Do you agree if a teacher says that we can speak in english without using proper grammar as long it contains the right words? because I have a friend who said, that his teacher told them so.

But I think that's wrong, because if we can speak in english as we like without concerning the right grammar, then how will we be able to speak english rightly later in the future?
For example, if we want to say this sentence in english:
"Jika saja kamu dulu belajar dengan keras, maka kamu akan lulus ujian hari ini"
According to my friend's teacher advice, I think we can simply say it in english:
"If you learnt hard, you will pass the test today"

Okay, maybe if we say that sentence to our friends who also learn english like we do, maybe they will understand it. But, how about if we say that to the native english speaker people? I don't think they'll really get what we are trying to say, because the right sentence should be:
"If you had learnt hard, you would have passed the test today"

That's just one of many examples I can come up.

Okay, I think you've got my point. So, what's your opinion?
