We have some important announcements to make regarding The King's Avatar:

Unfortunately, we will be discontinuing the fansubs for TKA. However, we do have good news! Having gotten in contact with Qidian International, we are happy to announce that, starting from episode 5 of TKA, the team at Bayi Subs subbing TKA will now be the official subbers for the show! As we have maintained a policy of delaying our releases until after the corresponding episode is made free on bilibili.tv, the release schedule for official subs (done by Bayi) will be simliar to the fansub schedule.

However, due to this new development, we will not be releasing the fansub of episode 4. Tencent has stated that they are planning to release their official version of episode 4 soon.

For our other projects: Unless Tencent chooses to issue DMCA notices, the works available on our various Youtube channels (e.g. Cupid’s Chocolates, Wangpai Yushi) will remain, and we will continue fansubbing them.

Finally, thank you everyone for your support thus far! With this partnership between Bayi and Tencent, we hope to be able to eventually bring shows like “Fox Spirit Matchmaker” and “Nuwa’s Diary” to you legally and free of charge—all with the same high quality that we have delivered thus far by subbers like Idiotproofninja, EP1, and GFearJ.
