[ASKING YOUR OPINION] IS TEACHING ENGLISH TO OUR KIDS(1-5 YEARS OLD) NECESSARY?

to the point, i got a task from my lecturer.
well, how about your opinion about teaching english language to underage kids(1-5 years old)? since we only need to speak indonesian here.
is necessary to teach our kids about english early since lot of them still cant understand "indonesian grammar" ?
