She realizes that winning The X Factor is not the peak of her career, it’s just an amazing opportunity to open so many doors. That’s the reason she is the sweetheart of the nation.

Aku Memilih Setia
Upon first listen, I thought it was sung by Momo, the vocalist of Indonesian leading pop band, Geisha. Although it doesn’t sound like victory song, it’s actually very addictive and you’ll find yourself singing this song at the top of your lungs in the shower. Do I think it’s a good song? Yes. Do I think it is her best? No.

Dalam Luka Ku Masih Setia
Without further ado, I personally consider this song showcases Fatin at her best. The structure of the melody is perfectly written, credits to the songwriters. Although Fatin hasn’t been around in music industry for more than a year, she sounds so mature here as she is ready to take over and dominate the charts.

Jangan Kau Bohong
One word : FIERCE. It really captures my heart and it’s really safe to say this is a potential smash hit. I can easily say it is Fatin at her best and most memorable on the album. She’s got the sass and swag. It doesn’t sound like Agnes Monica wannabe, it sounds really confident and she manages to channel her inner ‘ratchetness’ and street side really well. You are ready to SOAR, gurl!

Saat Ku Gelap Saat Ku Remang
Fatin once again establishes her credibility as rising singer of the year. This is the most emotional song of the record as you can sense the feeling of anger, insecurity, despair, and sorrow in her voice. This is her own version of Shontelle’s “Impossible” and Jordin Sparks’ “Battlefield”.

Dia Dia Dia
The song starts with low notes which she maintains very well and steady and she continues by belting the chorus with her vulnerable aura. Listen to the song bridge to listen to the X Factor sensation’s creamy and crispy vocal. She is stepping her game up with her soothing and clear falsetto! She really pours her heart out on this one.

Kaulah Kamuku feat. Mikha Angelo
Two darlings of The X Factor collaborated in a song. I thought it was going to be something really special but in the other hand, I was worried that it wouldn’t reach my level of expectancy. Sadly, the latter is more dominant. It sounds flat and the idea of old-fashioned love story is too tacky for these youngsters. Don’t get me wrong. I love these two but this song doesn’t do any justice for them.

Hold Me
It’s super annoying because this song is my least favorite song on the album but I keep hearing Fatin herself singing the chorus ‘Ku takkan berhenti. So baby hold me, hold me’ in my brain. It sounds like Fatin doesn’t really want to sing this song. Actually, It would have sounded amazing…. if it was sung by my mother during her period of adolescence, twenty five years ago. Outdated.

Goodbye
The melody is pretty nice and it is unintentionally homage to Melanie Fiona’s “Give It To Me Right” or Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats”. This song is supposed to unleash Fatin’s fury as she is being let down by her boy but her vocal is not ferocious enough to convince me that she is really angry and dangerous.

Semua Tentangmu
Woohoo! Fatin channels her inner Lily Allen and Carly Rae Jepsen with this one. This track sounds really fresh and bubbly which really fits Fatin as the rising sweetheart of the nation. It reminds me of Gita Gutawa’s smash hits ‘Bukan Permainan’ mixed with a bit of ‘Parasit’. Fatin’s soft and flirty vocal sounds wonderful. This song is a potential next single and it will be such a great way to show people the different side of Fatin. Props!

Mengenangmu Mengingatmu
This is a pretty simple forgettable filler song. Next!

Sadar Di Batas Sabar
Do you still remember her performance on X Factor during Bootcamp when she performed a wonderful rendition of Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks”? It seems like she is reliving that moment with this one, but this time, it’s not that attention-grabbing. It’s just a filler song which happened to sound like Peter Pan and Sheila On Seven early music.

Cahaya Di Langit Itu
This is a simple melodic show-stealing ballad. It gives us new insight and perspective about Fatin’s ability to nail a ballad. I love the fact that she delivers the song with such vulnerability.
