Vivian Lee Story - Perhaps It’s Time To End My Meaningless Struggle Once And For All

PETALING JAYA: Vivian Lee, one half of the controversial sex blogging duo Alvivi, has appeared in a video which abruptly ends with a scene showing her "slashing her wrist."
Entitled “Regret,” the video was posted on their Twitter account Thursday evening. The video was uploaded on YouTube yesterday
In the two-minute clip, directed by boyfriend Alvin Tan, Vivian, 24, who displayed heartfelt emotions, looks back on her choices that had brought her to this juncture of her life.
"When I was a child people told me to pursue my dreams, believe in yourself, find your own voice. Back then, everything was simple,” she said.
“As I grow, people say get real, choose stability, Don’t speak out too much. Yet I was idealistic. I choose uncertainty. And I spoke out too often and too loudly. That everyone even started to feel proud of hating me.
“I think it’s hard being an adult. When I follow my heart, everyone tells me that I’m wrong. I’m bad and I’m worthless.
“Even my loved ones refuse to love me anymore. All because I challenged their ideas of an ideal me. All because I chose a life path that was uniquely mine.
“Sometimes I wonder if doing the right thing is the right thing to do. Honestly I’m tired. They’ve triumphed. I’ve lost. I’ve given up to listening to my inner voice. And they can all gleefully celebrate. To me, a life scripted by others is not even worth living,” said a teary-eyed Vivian seen sitting on a sofa watching television.
“Perhaps it’s time to end my meaningless struggle once and for all. Just one quick stroke,” she said.
The video ends with a shot of Vivian making a slashing motion across her wrist with a knife before the screen goes blank.
Attempts to contact the duo were unsuccessful.
The duo attracted attention when they released a video of their sex escapade which led to Alvin being dismissed from his law studies by the university in Singapore.

For some people who interesting with the turmoil of asian young generation nowadays, maybe you remember about a girl who names Vivian Lee and her boy friend Alvin Tan.
I saw them two years ago and felt that their sound was a description of many asian generation. They are progressive and just telling us the truth but many people are not comfort with theirs.
