Every morning in the nunnery, one of the nuns was
assigned to go from door to door at the very krack of
dawn.

She would knock on each door and call out : " God has
blessed us with
another beautiful day, " to which the nuns would respond
in turn, " Praise by to God ! "

One morning, a burglar broke into the nunnery just after
midnight. One of the sisters heard his footsteps, and ran
from room to room to alert the others.

As she knocked on the first door, then the next and the
next, she cried : " There's a man in the house ! There's a
man in the house ! "

To which her sisters responded : " Praise be to God ! "
