Event Coordinator are responsible for the production of events from conception through to completion. The Event Coordinator will ensure that the company remains on target for all deadlines allowing for successful execution of the events.



• Researching markets to identify opportunities for events
• Responding to client inquiries and questions regarding events
• Producing detailed proposals for events (e.g. timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
• Agreeing to and managing a budget
• Securing and booking a suitable venue or location
• Selling sponsorship/stand/exhibition space to potential exhibitors/partners
• Preparing delegate packs and papers
• Liasing with clients and designers to create a brand for the event and organising the production of tickets, posters, catalogues and sales brochures
• Post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders)



• Bachelor degree
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience in event planning a plus but not required
• PC skills a must and must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Word) which includes creating reports and spreadsheets
• Ability to work independently and with minimal structure while exercising great judgment
• Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully
• Travel is required which can include some weekends
