U.S. delivers 79 Humvees to Lebanese military

BEIRUT: The United States delivered Saturday 79 military vehicles to the Lebanese Army, part of a U.S. military aid program, a statement from the military said.
“Seventy-nine military-type Humvees were offloaded at Beirut Port, as part of a U.S. military aid program for the Lebanese Army, accords and agreements signed between the two sides,” the statement said.
In July, the U.S. delivered 71 military Humvees as part the military program.
