To have a crush (on someone)

a strong feeling of romantic love for someone that usually does not last a long time ◊The person who has a crush is usually young or is behaving or feeling like a young person.


The simple present tense is used to indicate that an action happens regularly, or is generally true.
Add an "S" to the end of verbs, when the subject is he, she, or it.


Use the simple past to talk about events that already happened.
Remember the past tenses of these verbs:
invite - invited
gossip - gossiped
lie - lied
overhear - overheard
hang out - hung out

Use, "Do you know...?" to ask if someone is aware of something right now.
Use,"Did you know...?" to ask if someone was already aware of something.

You can respond to present tense information questions with, "I know," or, "I don't know."
You can respond to past tense questions with, "I knew," or, "I didn't know."
