Can I upgrade the video card?
No, you cannot. The graphics chip is soldered onto the board, so there's no way to remove it.
Is the Black MacBook video card really that bad?
It depends on what you're going to use your MacBook for.
Gamers and Photoshop enthusiasts will be somewhat disappointed. Photoshop runs fine unless you're working with multiple filters or lots of raw images, there isn't enough video memory to handle the load. For games you're going to have to play on low settings or you'll be literally stuck with never ending lag.
Movies and DVDs play fine as long as you have plenty of RAM. The MacBook's built graphics are no match for the dedicated video card inside the MacBook Pro.
Nonetheless, Front Row, iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band all run without a problem.
What kind of RAM does the Black MacBook use?
The MacBook uses DDR2 667Mhz So-DIMM RAM. Here's a photo:

What's the maximum amount of RAM the MacBook can have?
The Core 2 Duo MacBook has a chipset that supports 3GB of RAM. If you do in fact decide to use 3Gb, you will lose the ability to run it in dual channel mode. See this MacBook RAM guide for more information.
What kind of Hard Drive does the Black MacBook use?
All the MacBooks currently manufactured by Apple use SATA 2.5" notebook drives.
The Black and White MacBooks come with standard 5400RPM drives, but the 7200 RPM SATA drives will work just as well.
RPM stands for Rotations Per Minute. The more rotations per minute, the faster all your files and programs will load.
What's wrong with the keyboard?
The keys are slightly spaced apart, something you won't find on other laptops. At first it may look a little uncomfortable, but you get used to it rather quickly. Because the keys are spaced apart, you're less likely to press the wrong key by accident. Those with chubby fingers will definitely appreciate it.

I already purchased a MacBook, what should I upgrade?
You can add more RAM, the max you can have is 3Gb. This will speed up your system performance all around. After you've added more RAM, you can upgrade your hard drive to a 7200 RPM drive.
Is the MagSafe reliable?
The MagSafe connector is tough and holds well. There's no chance of it falling out on its own unless someone purposely pulls it out.
The only common complaint about the MagSafe connector is that it doesn't come in black.
How's the battery life?
You should average anywhere from 3 to 4 hours. If you're not using WiFi or playing a 3D game then you'll save around 30-40 min of battery life.
If you already own a MacBook and your battery life is waning then you should probably recalibrate the battery.
