Analisis dari luar yg cukup bagus nih gan:
ANALYSISMy Juve Analysis (self.Juve)
submitted 1 hari yang lalu by BatosaiGeneral3
After sleeping on yesterdays match and then reading everybody's hot takes I just wanted to share my analysis of the recent Juve and the previous Juve.
Im going to start with the final Allegri Juve, the "boring" Juve. The allegri Juve played a very "boring" style, it was very possession heavy with very little excitement. Alot of passing between the back line and trough out the wings to get a cross from Sandro and Cancelo. Very little creativity from our players and the only individual brilliance we had was an out of position Dybala, injury prone Douglas Costa who was available maybe 30% of the games, and the Ronaldo-Mandzukic link up. We did the comeback against one of the best defensive teams in Europe but the mistake prone backline couldn't stop Ajax from scoring. Now Allegri played a very defensive and boring style because that team was a shadow of the previous years since alot of its key players left. Cancelo started regularly down the RB position with Cuadrado switching with him often. Chiellini and Bonucci were starting to show their age with their lack of speed exposing them to any mistake the juve midfield made. Then you have Sandro who started out fine but the more seasons go by he seems like he is only getting worse.
The midfield of Allegri was something this subreddit never liked and for good reason. Pjanic was slotted next to Khedira/Can, Bentancur, Matuidi or Dybala. Heavily criticized was Pjanic who many said only passed sideways and stopped creating chances in the deep holding midfield role he was assigned. Dybala was put in the RM/RW position and it did not work. Matuidi has cinderblocks for feet, he has a very hard first touch but was a work horse and was played regularly due to the fact that you needed someone like him to be able to run the share of injury prone Khedira or slower than molasses Emre Can. Honestly this Juve midfield should not have worked, but it did since Merda will always be Merda, Milan was still trying to put a football team together, and Napoli was transitioning. The attack was ok with mr. play anywhere was partnered with mr. champions league. The boring style worked in the league but the cracks started to show in the Cups. Ronaldo scored to win the Supercopa, and Ronaldo scored to lead us over atletico and he scored each game against ajax, but the defense and midfield were not enough to stop ajax from outscoring us or to prevent the trashing atalanta gave us in the copa in a 3-0 defeat.
Moving on from Allegri, Juve brought in Sarri. Sarri Ball was very pleasing to watch in Napoli, did not have the time or player culture in Chelsea to succeed and coming in to juve was the last moment Juve was in the win now moment. Juve brought back Higuain and Buffon while getting rid of Mandzukic, swapped Cancelo for Danilo, and brought in the young CB pairing of De ligt, Demiral. Then on free we got in Rabiot and Ramsey. During the winter we brought in the youngster Kulusevski and shipped out Emre can. The defense was reinforced , while the midfield was slowly being overhauled and hopefully improved with a coach known for playing quick touch attacking football. The season started and we looked okay and then shit hit the fan. The defensive line was riddled with injuries, De ligt brought in to be a back up and to be possibly the 4th choice CB was starting most games then in the CL he had to play injured when we got knocked out by Lyons. The midfield looked lost and uninspired. Khedira at times in the few moments played looked like the most threatening midfielder we had. If that wasn't a sign of our season to come then I dont know what it could've been. We brought in quality players but that was just it, they are a bunch of quality supporting midfielders not the main guys and it showed. Anybody you ask about that season will tell you the only reason we won the league was because of Dybala and Ronaldo in the attack creating their own chances along with the de ligt and Tek keeping us in games in defense. Also we got lucky because of Covid it let us come in and snatch the title comfortably after the break. In the CL, copa and Supercopa we got embarrassed. Letting go of Sarri was the correct decision and it was time to enter rebuild mode.
Onto Pirlo, Juve has now officially decided to rebuild. You might not agree with me but this is the start. First they started to get rid of the aging players and some of their big contracts. They terminated Matuidi and Higuain and shipped them off to the MLS. They loaned out Douglas Costa, and somehow were able to get rid of Khedira and his horrible contract. They swapped out Pjanic for Artur and thus the oldest player in the Juve midfield became Ramsey who is 30. They brought in Morata again and got a diamond in the rough with Chiesa. Add in an a first time coach in Pirlo and you have a recipe for a rebuild. Now lets analyze this season so far and how we got to where we are. This season has been far from perfect but it stills gives me hope for the future of Juventus. Demiral and de ligt will be a strong world class partnership in the future. At RB/CB/LB (possibly CDM) you have Danilo who has stepped up and shined this season. Danilo is one of the most important Juve players this season and then that brings me to Sandro and Cuadrado. Cuadrado is amazing at his job but the one thing I have noticed is that he seems to be injured at our most important matches. In the ajax match he wasn't available and in the first Porto game he was out injured, he barely made it in time to be available yesterday with Danilo out with yellow card accumulation. With his contract running out end of 2022 will Juve renew him at the age of 34? And then there's Sandro if Sandro is renewed we need to sign another LB to give him competition because the way he has played this season isn't it. Chiellini is 36 and his contract runs out the end of this season, if he were to retire he would be leaving the juve back line in good hands.
The Juve midfield is just missing that one main midfielder. The creative mid that will elevate the rest of our midfield. Like I said before we have quality players that are good supporting pieces but they have no one to support in the mid, they are missing the main guy.
In the attack I will only say this. Dybala has been out from Covid and then injury after injury. Morata started off hot but got the flu and then injury, along with his dumb decisions to get suspended has prevented him from getting into rhythm. Then comes 36 year old Ronaldo, if you're blaming the 3rd oldest player on the team ( buffon is 43, Chiellini is 36) for our loss because he was bad last game just keep in mind, his partner up top has been out of position Kulusevski, or the youngster who is still learning Chiesa. Aside from Covid and the very few chances pirlo had to rest him he has played almost every single game hes been available.
Now that we got the little brief Juve history/analysis lets talk facts. Ronaldo has a huge transfer fee, and huge wages correct, he is NOT the reason we cant afford people, we had horrible wages and business decisions before and after that. Khedira, Higuain, Matuidi, Emere Can, Injury prone Douglas Costa (he only played 2 games before he kept getting injured) all had horrible contracts and they were not players we should've had to build a win now team. Aaron Ramsey and Rabiot do not justify their wages week in and week out. Rabiot looks uninspired every week and Ramsey seems to get injured at random points and can never be counted on.
Pirlo is inexperienced and there are other coaches who would be better than him. Truth of the matter is he WILL be out coached, he WILL make mistakes, but he WILL also have his moments of brilliance while he figures out what he can do with what he has. The defensive line like last season always seems have injury problems. Bonnuci, Chiellini, De ligt, Cuadrado, and Sandro have had to miss games this season due to Covid or injury which prevents the Juve back line from being at full strength. But when they're all available we see a solid Juve that gives hope. The midfield I have been over but let me add that when we have arthur on it is night and day in the way we hold and move the ball. The attack leaves stuff to be desired because it doesn't have a proper supply of chances, one game it does and the next it doesn't and we should not be relying on a 36 year old to always be carrying us to victory even if he is the only available and healthy attacker. So stop with the negativity around the team after every loss. I see this as a rebuild season, we got lucky winning the league last season, this team is completely different style wise to Sarri and Allegri and if we are patient we might get back on top next season or the season after. Ronaldo also runs his contract out next season, maybe they wont sell him so we stay competitive and having him on the team might attract good players to want to come to juve. Or maybe they let him play out his contract who knows. This team has had a lot of faults but they are slowly being worked out, and the future is looking good we are just missing a main player or 2 instead of supporting pieces and we would be looking at a scary good team.
