Chaos Walking is an upcoming American science fiction action thriller film directed by Doug Liman, produced by Robert Zemeckis, and written by Charlie Kaufman, Jamie Linden, Patrick Ness, Lindsey Beer, Gary Spinelli and John Lee Hancock. It is based on Ness' young adult novel The Knife of Never Letting Go, the first novel of the Chaos Walking trilogy. The film stars Tom Holland, Daisy Ridley and Mads Mikkelsen. It will be released by Lionsgate on March 1, 2019.
