Syarat-nya masi yang di page 1 yah.

Living cost sekitar AUD20,000 gt, gak termasuk tuition fee yah.

Good luck untuk kedepannya gan emoticon-Jempol

Rata2 yg kesana cm modal visa student cm jadi sapi perahan doang kerja underpaid doing some shitty job, lo bkn cm bakal buang umur sia2 tapi biaya yg dikeluarin pun gk sedikit yg bakal kebuang percumah.Uang hasil kerja loe pun at the end of the day bakal abis cm utk biaya2 tetek bengek ngurus perpanjangan visa. saran gw mah jgn cepet percaya dgn apapun janji2 manis, lo harus survey dan research dlu ttg kehidupan dsana sm org2 yg ud pernah ngalamin hidup disana.

Thank you for sharing gan, I know the difficulties to get a job abroad, since I've been there before.

As I believe it's not easy to get a proper job anywhere, even in Indonesia if you want to land a reasonable job, you need to compete with other talents. There is no easy way to get a great thing without sacrifice. Every good companies set their standard, and it applies everywhere.

To start with, could you share to us about your background for everyone here? your experience and help is a great resources for everyone, especially for those who seek the opportunity to work in Australia. It could be your educational background, experiences, participation, challenge and everything you have tried when you are trying to work there. Your information about your hard time in finding a job in Australia will be completely objective if you can also provide the data of the current job market standard and employment situation there.

Your thoughts would be a guideline for those who are currently plan to study/ work in Australia. By understanding the work qualification there, what they are seek for a non-citizen applicants and ultimately how to earn a sustainable work in Australia. With your experience of more than a year there, I'm pretty sure you could provide some insight.

Your help will surely be appreciated for everyone in this forum, thanks a lot!

True that memang susah skrg ini utk dapat proper job dimana2, but at least you'll get better chances in your own country. You don't have to deal with the damn visa and immigration!! I had diploma in culinary arts, b.b.a and m.p.a degrees. None of that helps when it comes to visa status requirement which is kind of discriminating for us international student!! Unless if you don't mind working in hospitality industry earning minimum wages with long hours of work in a hostile working environment then you'll be alright in Australia.Whether you like it or not that's the truth of what Australia really is, it's a money pitt where foreign students are their milking cows. Think twice before you make the decision guys, jangan mudah percaya sm kata2 agent manapun!!

Opps sorry for causing an ambiguity since I didn't tell you my background.

Basically I have been rejected A LOT to get a job abroad, 3 times failed applying Singapore e-pass and not getting work sponsorship after my internship until my study visa expires and finally back to Indonesia, and I actively job searching for working in the international companies outside, waiting for my luck. Currently I work in MNC in Indonesia and here, the chance of opportunity for regional position (work in other venture) is considerably need a sheer luck. That's why I assume that is not easy to lay a job abroad, maybe I miss something that I should have to increase my chance getting a job abroad.

Once again, sorry for the confusion and have a nice day.

Is the order based on the importance or its equally important ? and yep, one thing that I most regret is I forget to build connection. Back in my university life, I heavily focused on study and in-campus activities while most of the connection build by helping the community or join for voluntary work. I take this as a good lesson. For luck, there is nothing we can do about it and the rest factor will automatically improve as long as we want to improve ourselves. Thanks a lot for sharing to us.

Fair treatment is considerably rare to found in Indo workplace you know, especially if you work in family business, that your career progression is stuck in the middle and most of the executive level were handled by their own family. A coworker that has a same university to his boss tend to progress quickly, is a common practice here. My idea of fair treatment is we are regarded based on our competence/ deliver-ability not on personal recognition. I am not surprised if connection play a major part in your chance to land a job. As a human being, we prefer to work with someone we know/ has a similar background and it also happen in Aussie (for example: prioritizing local)correct me if I am wrong, but I believe it is more fair than in Indo as company has a certain job standard to meet (Aussie work experience, specific qualification)

However, I have a few replies to juraganpete which is:
1. As what I heard, you point out that Visa and Immigration is one of the painful part of working in Aussie. May I know on which part do you think? Is it about the cost (any rough calculation from your total spent yearly would be helpful) or the process is too complicated for us since we are not used to it?
2. How do most expat spent with their saving? Do they invest on property/ land/ insurance fund/ remittance?
3. If this comfortable for you, regarding to your competency (as a graduate degree holder in culinary), is it easy to land a job?

Semua balik lagi ke modal, anggep aja hidup tuh kaya kita mancing, mau dapet ikan paus yah nggak bisa pake modal bambu sama cacing doang, modal kecil dapetnya juga kecil.

Modal buat dapet kerjaan yah seperti yang gw sebutin di atas tadi, connection, luck, presentation dll.

Modal buat hidup yah semua asset kita.

Gw nggak inget banyak soal my great grandmother, cuman ada 1 yang sampe sekarang gw masih inget yang dia bilang: "DUIT MANCING DUIT"
