Position : Ruby on Rails Senior Developer

Virkea Empresa Sistema is an IT Solutions company in Jakarta, Indonesia. We are developing enterprise procurement solutions to help customer improve their procurement process. As a company, our vision is to help our customer gain most from what they spend in procurement, using our tools which provide transparency and paperless document integration.

Responsibilities :
1. Translate design specifications into high quality working code within allocated budget and time frame
2. Perform unit and system integration testing. Write test and manage code to comply with > 80% test coverage
3. Resolve bugs and errors identified during all phases of testing
4. Resolve service requests raised by users according to defined processes and within set timeframe
5. Ensure quality of deliverables by adhering to company standards
6. Analyzing, developing and implementing complex web application that can communicate with other entity via SOAP/REST protocol (e.g. API)
7. Define and analyze user requirement; Collaborates with frontend and analyst team
8. Propose architectural design of a system which derived from the user requirement
9. Quickly adapt to various technology stack that will be used by the company
10. Develop web application in agile manner
11. Recommend library and framework as necessary and able to compare advantages and disadvantages of various available libraries and frameworks

Requirement :

1. Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering / Teknik Informatika or its equivalent
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team player
3. Minimum 3 years work experience in Ruby on Rails development
4. Good understanding of relational database concept and experience using popular rdbms
5. Good understanding of ReSTful web services concepts & implementations.
6. Familiarity with git is advantage but can be catched-up during the onboarding process.
7. Able to work with agile method. Using JIRA as management tool, create stories and estimate story points
8. Working location: Project on-site Full-time, City: Jakarta
9. Able to learn and extract the most from our mentor. Asking right questions and do homework to sharpen the question
